San Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado is not starting in Sunday afternoon's series finale versus left-hander Robbie Ray and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
It looks like a breather for Machado. Seth Mejias-Brean is on third base for the Padres and hitting eighth.
