Texas Rangers catcher Jeff Mathis is not in the lineup on Sunday in the team's game against the Chicago White Sox.
Mathis is being replaced behind the plate by Jose Trevino against White Sox starter Reynaldo Lopez.
In 226 plate appearances this season, Mathis has a .167 batting average and a .455 OPS.
