Cincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart is playing left field and hitting fifth on Tuesday versus right-hander Cal Quantrill and the San Diego Padres.
The last time Barnhart was in the outfield was back in 2015. This is the highest he's hit all season. Barnhart went 2-for-4 with a double while hitting eighth on Monday. Brian O'Grady is starting at catcher on Tuesday.
