Chicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward was scratched from Wednesday's starting lineup against right-hander Aaron Nola and the Philadelphia Phillies due to left knee inflammation.
Heyward is considered day-to-day. Ian Happ, Kyle Schwarber, and Nick Castellanos are in the outfield Wednesday for the Cubs. Tony Kemp is leading off.
Heyward is hitting .271/.351/.456 with 17 homers, 48 RBI, 7 steals, and 57 runs scored in 447 plate appearances (111 games) this season.
