Kershaw will get an extra day of rest after initially being scheduled for Tuesday. Dustin May is now pitching in Tuesday's series opener against right-hander Jordan Yamamoto and the Marlins. Kershaw has given up 2 or fewer runs in six straight starts.
Kershaw owns a 2.77 ERA and 1.04 WHIP with 131 strikeouts and 28 walks over 130 innings (20 starts) this season.
