San Francisco Giants third baseman Evan Longoria is not starting in Monday's game against the Washington Nationals.
Longoria will rest against the Nationals with Pablo Sandoval receiving the start at third base.
In 282 at-bats this season, Longoria is batting .241 with 13 home runs and 39 RBI.
