Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Tyler Glasnow (forearm) threw from a distance of 60 feet on Monday.
It was Glasnow's first time throwing in six weeks and he reported feeling fine after the session. The right-hander was placed on the injured list May 11 with a right forearm strain and then suffered a setback in June. He could be back in September as the Rays look to maintain pace in the Wild Card hunt.
Glasnow is 6-1 in eight starts this season. He owns a 1.86 ERA and 0.91 WHIP with 55 strikeouts and 9 walks over 48 1/3 innings.
