Colorado Rockies right fielder Charlie Blackmon is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Blackmon's back locked up on him during a postgame workout Sunday. Rockies manager Bud Black is keeping his "fingers crossed" that Blackmon will avoid a stint on the injured list. Raimel Tapia is starting in right field on Monday, with David Dahl in the leadoff spot.
Blackmon is batting .319/.367/.591 with 21 homers, 26 doubles, 62 RBI, and 77 runs scored in 409 plate appearances this season.
