Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer (nose, eye) is officially starting the second half of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Scherzer broke his nose and suffered a black eye after bunting a ball into his face on Tuesday, but there was never much concern about his status for Wednesday. The 34-year-old right-hander owns a 2.81 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 136 strikeouts and 20 walks over 99 1/3 innings (15 starts) this season.
numberFire's models expect Scherzer to score 46.1 FanDuel points on Wednesday. He's priced at $11,700.
