New York Yankees pitcher Jordan Montgomery is travelling to New York for an MRI on his left shoulder, manager Aaron Boone said.
Montgomery had Tommy John surgery about a year ago, and shut down a bullpen session at the team's spring training complex Tuesday.
He has a 3.84 ERA with a 1.25 WHIP and 167 strikeouts over 182.2 career innings.
