Minnesota Twins center fielder Byron Buxton (wrist) remained out of the starting lineup Sunday versus the Kansas City Royals.
Buxton was also held out of Saturday's lineup after being hit by a pitch on his right wrist Sunday, but he's available off the bench at least as a potential defensive replacement or pinch runner. Max Kepler is in center field again for the Twins.
Buxton is batting .266/.324/.527 with 9 home runs, 21 doubles, 38 RBI, 40 runs scored, and 10 steals across 227 plate appearances this season.
