Seattle Mariners outfielder Braden Bishop is starting on Tuesday versus left-hander Wade Miley and the Houston Astros.
Mallex Smith is sitting, so Bishop is covering center field and leadoff duties. It's his first start since being recalled from Triple-A Tacoma over the weekend.
Bishop is 2-for-22 (.091) in the majors this season.
