New York Yankees starting pitcher James Paxton (knee) confirmed that he will return from the injured list Wednesday against the San Diego Padres.
Paxton hasn't pitched since May 3 due to inflammation in his left knee. The 30-year-old left-hander admitted to not being 100 percent, but is willing to pitch through the pain.
numberFire's models expect Paxton to record a 3.68 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 149 strikeouts and 37 walks over the rest of the season.
