Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Kevin Newman is not in the lineup on Friday in the team's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Newman is being replaced at shortstop by Cole Tucker against Dodgers starter Walker Buehler.
In 60 plate appearances this season, Newman has a .340 batting average and an .869 OPS.
