The Atlanta Braves will call up top prospect Austin Riley on Wednesday, according to The Athletic's David O'Brien.
The move comes after Ender Inciarte exited Tuesday's game with back tightness. Riley is a third baseman, but he had started four of the past five games in left field for Triple-A Gwinnett, indicating that's where the Braves intend to use him.
Riley slashed .299/.377/.681 with a 1.058 OPS in 162 plate appearances at Triple-A this season. He posted 15 homers, 10 doubles, 39 RBI, and 32 runs scored in 37 games.
