Boston Red Sox pitcher David Price (elbow) might rejoin the rotation next weekend against the Houston Astros, manager Alex Cora indicated Sunday.
Price will likely throw a simulated session during the week. If all goes well, he should be cleared to return. The 33-year-old left-hander hasn't pitched since May 2 due to tendinitis in his left elbow.
Price owns a 3.75 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 42 strikeouts and 10 walks across 36 innings. He has a 1-2 record in six starts.
