Houston Astros pitcher Collin McHugh will have a new role as a reliever after starting eight games.
After struggling in his last four starts, McHugh will move from the rotation to the bullpen. As a reliever last season, McHugh produced a 1.99 ERA and 94 strikeouts in 72.1 innings pitched.
The Astros will replace McHugh's rotation spot with Corbin Martin. Through 24.1 innings pitched in Triple-A, Martin produced a 1.48 ERA and 28 strikeouts.
