Boston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts is not starting in Wednesday afternoon's series finale versus right-hander Mike Fiers and the Oakland Athletics.
It appears to be a breather for Bogaerts. Tzu-Wei Lin is covering things at shortstop.
