Colorado Rockies pitcher Kyle Freeland is starting in Monday's series opener versus right-hander Zach Davies and the Milwaukee Brewers.
Freeman was activated from the injured list Monday after a minimum stint on the injured list due to a blister. The Rockies optioned D.J. Johnson to Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding roster move.
