Chicago Cubs third baseman/left fielder Kris Bryant is starting in Monday's series opener versus right-hander Trevor Richards and the Miami Marlins.
Bryant is replacing Kyle Schwarber in left field and batting second. He sat out Saturday and Sunday's matchup was postponed, so the 27-year-old should be well rested for this affair.
