Atlanta Braves reliever A.J. Minter (shoulder) is unlikely to be ready for Opening Day, manager Brian Snitker conceded Sunday.
Minter is dealing with tightness in his pitching shoulder. He remains limited to flat-ground work and doesn't appear to have a timeline to return. Arodys Vizcaino will open the year as Atlanta's ninth-inning man.
numberFire's models currently expect Minter to pick up 4 saves and record a 3.32 ERA with 70 strikeouts across 57 innings this season.
