Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson is out of the starting lineup in Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday versus the Boston Red Sox.
Pederson will be replaced by Chris Taylor in left field. Brian Dozier will start at second base and bat leadoff for the Dodgers versus Red Sox southpaw Chris Sale.
Pederson is 7-for-27 (.259) with 1 home run, 1 double, 1 RBI, and 5 runs scored this postseason.
