Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Matt Duffy (quad) is out of Thursday afternoon's lineup against the New York Yankees.
Duffy is considered day-to-day after leaving Wednesday's game against the Yankees early with a quad injury. He drew a walk and scored a run in his only plate appearance. Joey Wendle will cover third base for Tampa Bay on Thursday.
Duffy is averaging 8.6 FanDuel points per game this season, while slashing .294/.361/.366 with 4 home runs, 44 RBI, 59 runs scored, and 12 steals across 560 plate appearances.
