FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Monday 4/9/18
Michael Conforto looks healthy and is in a dope spot against Jose Urena. Who else should you consider for the main slate?

Last week's main slates were generally devoid of elite pitching options, but that's certainly not the case tonight. In fact, not only do we have expensive and highly sought after arms on the board, but the same holds true for the bats. It all makes for a fun slate, but we sadly can't afford everybody, so keep your eyes peeled for any cheapies that emerge when lineups come out.

Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.

On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

Pitchers to Target

High-Priced Pitchers

Max Scherzer ($11,100 on FanDuel): The most expensive pitcher earns that salary as arguably the safest choice this evening. Max Scherzer has picked up right where he left off last season, sporting a 2.32 SIERA, 35.4% strikeout rate, and 6.3% walk rate through his first two starts. This Atlanta Braves group only struck out 18.8% of the time versus righties last season, but that shouldn't be much of a worry for someone with Scherzer's track record, and he's displayed a robust 18.6% swinging-strike rate so far. The Braves have only a 3.02 implied team total, which is the lowest on the board.
