The Top Three Pitchers

Danny Salazar – Salazar actually faced the White Sox in one of his few starts this year, and was pulled after just 3 2/3 innings due to pitch count. In the game though, he struck out nine batters and allowed zero runs. This will be his last outing of the year, so play him before you can't anymore.

Max Scherzer – He's finally over the 20-win hump, so hopefully things will roll for Scherzer against the Twins tonight, who he's beaten twice this year. His ERA has dropped from 3.19 to 2.67 since the break, and we see that continuing tonight.

Bud Norris – Norris is expected to get the start tonight, the first time since early September. He'll face a Jays lineup that ranks 17th in the big leagues in average, and given his cost on most daily sites, we like him as a value play.

Top High-Priced Hitters

Robinson Cano – Cano has followed up his .370 batting average August with a .341 September. He's been consistently in our daily fantasy lineups because he's hitting like an absolute beast, having 11 hits and four doubles in his last seven games. Keep his bat in your lineup.

Shane Victorino – He's hitting just .267 this month, but will be in Colorado tonight for Todd Helton's last game (what a career). The Rockies have given up the second fewest K/9 in the league this year, and as a team, the Rockies have the third worst ERA in Major League Baseball.

Cost-Effective, Mid-Range Hitter

Jarrod Saltalamacchia – As noted with Victorino, the Red Sox get the Rockies pitching tonight at Coors. The good news for Saltalamacchia? He's got a 10-game hit streak and he's even cheaper than Victorino. He's a good play tonight if he gets in the lineup.
