5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 8/15/18
Tyler White has been raking for Houston, and he draws a great matchup tonight against the Rockies. Which other low-priced bats are worth a look?

Tyler White, 1B, Houston Astros

Price: $2,300

After a weak rookie season from the dish in 2016, Tyler White has absolutely raked in small Major League samples in both 2017 and 2018. Last year saw him post a .356 wOBA and .246 ISO over 67 plate appearances, while he's up to a .397 wOBA and .274 ISO in 86 plate appearances this year.

In between that, we saw him make 313 Triple-A plate appearances. In that sample, he racked up a massive .440 wOBA, leaving plenty of room for optimism that his recent success in the bigs hasn't been a fluke.

That production is massive for what you'd usually expect to see in this price range, and White also draws a plus matchup tonight against Colorado Rockies southpaw Tyler Anderson. Anderson has a mediocre 4.21 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) on the year and has allowed 12 runs in his last 3 starts.
