3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 7/31/18
Freddie Freeman offers huge upside tonight against a struggling Dan Straily. Which other high-priced players should be on your radar on Tuesday's main slate?

Trevor Bauer, P, Cleveland Indians

Price: $11,800

Trevor Bauer's numbers stand out as the best among today's starters. His 3.14 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) is the lowest, his 31.6% strikeout rate is the highest, and his 23.5% strikeout-minus-walk rate is the highest. He also boasts a strong 13.2% strikeout rate, which is good for fourth on the slate.

Those strikeout numbers give him a ton of fantasy upside, and he has eclipsed 50 FanDuel points in 7 of his last 10 starts. That brings his season average to 46.6 per game, which ranks second in the Majors.

His matchup tonight isn't an easy one, taking on a capable Minnesota offense, but the Twins sit in the middle of the pack in wRC+ against right-handers (97) and strike out at a 21.2% rate. That's not a huge mark, but Bauer has been pitching well enough to make that a number he can still exploit tonight.
