5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 7/10/18
The Cardinals' offense offers a ton of value against Dylan Covey and the White Sox. Which cost-effective bats should you target on Tuesday night?

Tommy Pham, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

Price: $2,900

The St. Louis Cardinals draw a great matchup tonight, taking on the Chicago White Sox and righty Dylan Covey.

Covey struggled to the tune of a 5.64 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) as a rookie in 2017, and while he has made some improvements this year, his 4.69 SIERA is still a weak mark, and his walk rate remains north of 10%. He is also allowing a higher hard-hit rate than he did in 2017, as it sits at 37.6%.

Tommy Pham has seen a dip in production this year, but he's actually making the best contact of his career, with career-best marks in both hard-hit (47.0%) and soft-hit (12.0%) rate. Over his five Major League seasons, Pham has a .359 wOBA and .199 isolated slugging (ISO) against right-handed pitching, and with the big contact he's making this year, his ceiling is something to target against Covey.
