3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/27/18
Jack Flaherty has been a strikeout machine this season, but he is tasked with facing the powerful Cleveland Indians tonight. Which other players should you avoid on Wednesday's slate?

Jack Flaherty, SP, St. Louis Cardinals,

FanDuel Price: $8,800

Rookie stud Jack Flaherty has given the St. Louis Cardinals' rotation a major shot in the arm in 2018. Over 57 2/3 innings pitched, the right-hander owns an impressive 29.4% strikeout rate, a 12.6% swinging-strike rate, and 3.17 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA). While he doesn't have enough innings to qualify among the league leaders, those marks would place him 11th, 16th, and 13th, respectively, if he did.

Flaherty may face his stiffest test of his rookie season tonight in the Cleveland Indians, who have been white-hot lately. Over the past two weeks, the Tribe ranks fifth in baseball in weighted on-base average (wOBA), at .337, and they have been particularly tough to strike out, with a 19.2% strikeout rate (second-lowest).

Flaherty is definitely showing he belongs in the big leagues, but you may want to pivot away from him this evening.
