Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream in Week 13
Mets righty Seth Lugo draws a pair of prime matchups against the Pirates and Marlins. What other readily available arms should fantasy owners earmark in Week 13?

CC Sabathia, New York Yankees

Start: June 27th at Philadelphia Phillies
ESPN percentage owned: 41.0%

The reemergence of CC Sabathia as a useful fantasy asset has been one of the quieter subplots of the New York Yankees' season. The longest-tenured pinstripe hurler has been particularly strong of late, posting a 2.64 ERA along with a respectable 3.69 fielding independent pitching (FIP) over his past 30.2 innings of work, minimizing his hard contact to 26.3% over that span while suppressing his homer-per-fly rate to a manageable 8.8% -- and that's with more than half of those innings coming at the pitcher-hostile Yankee Stadium.

Despite his recent turnaround, Sabathia's age and lack of upside have left him on waiver wires in shallow leagues, so he could very well be out there for the taking ahead of a terrific matchup against the flagging Phillies offense in Week 13. Philadelphia has no-showed against southpaws over the last month, carrying a 24.0% group hard-contact rate and a barely-there .106 team isolated slugging in the split.

Just be ready to bail on Sabathia once that Phillies start is in the books: he does line up for a two-step in Week 14, but it comes against Atlanta and Toronto, two teams that have been crushing lefties this season.
