Daily Fantasy Baseball: Positive Batted-Ball Regression Candidates for Week 4
Whit Merrifield's bat has been light on extra-base pop, but advanced statistics show him making major contact gains. What other hitters could be on the verge of breaking out for daily fantasy players in Week 4?

Marcel Ozuna, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

Marcell Ozuna has given the St. Louis Cardinals some strong contact hitting over the early goings of the 2018, but he hasn't given daily players much explosive offense, with only four extra-base hits in 85 plate appearances despite a decent .247 batting average overall.

However, Ozuna's skill metrics don't exactly show the outfielder wielding a soft stick: check out that 44.1% hard-hit rate with a 23.7% line-drive rate. With a career isolated slugging of .188 against southpaws, Ozuna makes for a solid play this week against lefties Jon Lester and Brandon Finnegan, especially if his FanDuel salary tops out in the high $3,000s.
