3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 4/12/18
Hanley Ramirez bombed a homer on Wednesday, but is Sonny Gray enough of a reason to stay away from him tonight?

Jose Abreu, 1B, Chicago White Sox

FanDuel Price: $3,700

On such a short slate, Jose Abreu is the most expensive option at his position. Unfortunately for him, though, he draws one of the toughest pitching matchups on Thursday's main slate, and that makes him unworthy of his high price in MLB DFS.

Abreu shares a first name with adversary Jose Berrios, Thursday's starting pitcher for the Minnesota Twins. Berrios is a pretty tough pitcher overall, but he's even tougher on right-handed hitting. He holds right-handed batters to a .307 wOBA, including a 22.4% strikeout-rate. He's also excellent in terms of contact management, holding right-handed hitting to a 27.4% hard-hit rate and 9.5% home run to fly-ball rate.

Against a pitcher who minimizes hard contact, Abreu doesn't have the upside to justify his lofty price tag.
