3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/15/17
Coming off an injury and struggling in September, Corey Seager has a good opportunity to get himself back on track. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play for Friday's daily fantasy baseball contests?

Rafael Montero, SP, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $6,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There are some gigantic arms on Friday's main slate, including Chris Sale, Luis Severino, Robbie Ray, and Trevor Bauer, who are all in great spots and priced above $9,000. They should see the majority of ownership among available pitchers.

Rafael Montero of the New York Mets, who owns a 4.85 SIERA this season, is not even close to being in that tier of hurlers, and is priced accordingly.

Why You Should Use Him:

While the season-long performance hasn't been the greatest, Montero has quietly performed well recently.

Over his last nine starts -- dating back to July 28th -- Montero has posted a swinging-strike greater than 9.0% eight different times, while also producing a 21.7% strikeout rate, 25.0% hard-hit rate allowed, and 25.7% soft-hit rate allowed.

Facing a Atlanta Braves offense that ranks 21st in team wOBA (.319), Montero makes for a strong pivot at the pitching slot.
