3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 8/9/17
Fresh off a disabled list stint, Dexter Fowler has been productive and has another strong matchup tonight in the I-70 series. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Brandon Woodruff, SP, Milwaukee Brewers

FanDuel Price: $6,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The matchup in the desert is likely to see a ton of ownership at the pitching slot, as Alex Wood and Zack Greinke are set to duel out west. They are likely to be the chalky options at the pitching slot tonight, as both are priced over $9,000.

With only one appearance at the major league level, rookie Brandon Woodruff of the Milwaukee Brewers is likely to be overlooked.

Why You Should Use Him:

One of the highly regarded prospects of the Brewers, Woodruff did not disappoint in that first appearance. He fired 6 1/3 scoreless innings and recorded a 12.4% swinging-strike rate.

Over 72 2/3 innings pitched at Triple-A, Woodruff recorded a 22.4% strikeout rate -- and he'll face a Twins team that likes to whiff against righties. This year, they've struck out 12th-most at a 22.2% clip.

While the Minnesota Twins are certainly a dangerous lineup, Woodruff is a cheap pivot with plenty of upside potential.
