Barnes has a strong .373 wOBA on a 34.6% hard-hit rate in 81 plate appearances against southpaws this season, and that is very encouraging against Atlanta Braves lefty Sean Newcomb. He's posted a weak 4.83 xFIP against right-handed bats to start his big league career.
