3 Daily Fantasy Baseball Players to Avoid on 6/29/17
Although he's only made six starts, David Price hasn't shown enough this year to justify taking the plunge tonight in MLB DFS. Which other players should you fade?

David Price, SP, Boston Red Sox

FanDuel Price: $9,100

I'm willing to take the "L" on this if I'm wrong, but I don't see David Price getting it going against the Minnesota Twins.

Outside of a nice start against the Orioles at the beginning of the month, Price hasn't done much through six appearances, compiling lackluster figures in SIERA (4.91), strikeout rate (19.3%), and walk rate (10.0%).

It's a small sample size, but there are few indications of anything we can get excited about. He has a swinging-strike rate below 10% in each of his last four starts, and he's given up at least one homer in all but his last start. To make matters worse, we might have strong winds blowing out at Fenway.

As the third-most expensive hurler on the slate, you're not getting enough of a discount to justify risking it with Price, regardless of his stellar track record.
