Fantasy Baseball: 4 Pitchers to Stream for Week 14
The lack of strikeout upside has kept standard leaguers from embracing Jose Urena, but that should change this week with the Miami righty boasting nice matchups in Week 14.

Aaron Nola, Philadelphia Phillies

Starts: July 3rd vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, July 8th vs. San Diego Padres
ESPN ownership: 45 percent

Many standard leaguers jumped ship on Aaron Nola when his ERA sat over 5.00 at the end of May, but the Philadelphia Phillies righty should find his ownership trends changing course thanks to 33-plus innings of 3.24 ERA ball in June, certified by a 3.59 fielding independent pitching (FIP) mark and a strikeouts per nine (K/9) approaching 9.5.

The 24-year-old is clearly this week's prime streamer target in any leagues where he's unowned, as Nola lines up for home dates against two of the league's least-productive offenses by weighted runs created plus (wRC+).

Nola's ace curveball should be the catalyst here, as he's limited hitters to a.554 on-base plus slugging (OPS) with that big breaker across 327 offering this year, and both the Pads and the Pirates are well below average producers off the curve. San Diego should be particularly vulnerable: they're among the most whiff-heavy teams in the league, prone to chasing outside of the zone.

Any way you slice it, the burgeoning young righty is set up to chisel his season ERA below 4.00 while helping fantasy owners massage their own ratios and rack up the punchouts.
