5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/23/17
Jed Lowrie has been excellent against righties this season, and he draws a good matchup against Jose Urena. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Tuesday?

Dexter Fowler, OF, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $1,600

Playing hitters against Clayton Kershaw is generally a pretty bad idea, but FanDuel seems to be experimenting with some new pricing in Kershaw matchups. Not only are hitters against him seeing a huge decrease in price, they're actually being priced below what used to be the minimum salary of $2,000.

It's still not an exciting prospect in cash games, but this pricing makes plugging a St. Louis Cardinals bat into a tournament lineup a viable move. With the volatility of scoring in fantasy baseball, they have some big upside relative to these price tags.

Dexter Fowler will likely be hitting leadoff for the Cards, positioning him well to see a decent number of plate appearances even if Kershaw does dominate. He has done his best work against southpaws over his career, with a .363 wOBA, and numberFire's models project him as the top point-per-dollar value among today's hitters.
