3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/22/17
Finally back to business after a shoulder injury, Lonnie Chisenhall has been on fire and has a great matchup tonight. Who else makes for a strong sleeper play?

Mike Foltynewicz, SP, Atlanta Braves

FanDuel Price: $7,400

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

There's some fantasy ace goodness on today's slate -- Zack Greinke, Michael Fulmer, and Gerrit Cole, all of whom are throwing the heck out of the baseball, are on tap and should make for a nice set of options in that top tier.

One option that may fly under the eyes of many players is Atlanta Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz. His month of May has been a bit rough -- he's logged a 6.19 ERA over 16.0 innings pitched.

Why You Should Use Him:

Despite that poor ERA, it's a bit inflated by his first start of the month that didn't go well -- he's been fantastic over his last two.

Foltynewicz's strikeout rate is down this year to 17.7% (from 21.1% last season), but he's still posting a viable 9.3% swinging-strike rate.

His opponent Monday night also isn't the scariest -- the Pittsburgh Pirates rank 27th in team wOBA (.295). Foltynewicz has logged back-to-back quality starts and wins, and he has a great shot at keeping that streak going given his situation.
