5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/10/17
Even in what looks like a tough matchup against Tanner Roark, Matt Carpenter offers huge upside tonight. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value on Monday?

Curtis Granderson, OF, New York Mets

FanDuel Price: $2,600

The New York Mets don't have a massive implied total today, but it's not bad (4.28), and their left-handed bats have a terrific matchup against Philadelphia Phillies righty Jerad Eickhoff.

In his first full major league season last year, Eickhoff struggled with a 4.05 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), while left-handed hitters teed off on him for a .347 wOBA on a 30.6% hard-hit rate, leaving him with a 4.70 xFIP.

The 36-year-old Curtis Granderson proved last season that he's still dangerous from the dish, posting a 36.9% hard-hit rate and 42.1% fly-ball rate. He has always done better work against right-handed pitching and finished 2016 with a .241/.347/.379 slash, .349 wOBA and .238 isolated slugging (ISO), with especially strong 37.3% hard-hit and 44.2% fly-ball rates.
