On a short four-game main slate today, we're pretty short on "stud" options on the mound, with the only two priced above $8,000 being Matt Harvey and Jeff Samardzija.

Neither were high-strikeout guys last season (Samardzija finished with a 20.1% strikeout rate to Harvey's 18.9%), though Harvey does have a nearly 4% edge in that category over his career, with a 25.1%.

He's also a much safer play today, as the New York Mets are the second-biggest favorites on the main slate (-155 moneyline), while the Atlanta Braves have one of the lowest implied totals on the slate (3.60). It's also important to keep an eye on the weather for this game throughout the day.
