3 FanDuel Defenses to Target in Week 3
Defenses are mostly an afterthought, but don't make that mistake. Who should you target on FanDuel this week?

Miami Dolphins

FanDuel Price: $4,600
Projections: 21.71 points allowed, 2.62 sacks, 1.62 turnovers, 0.28 touchdowns

On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns will be starting their fifth quarterback in their last five games -- an unbelievable (although miserable) accomplishment. Third-round rookie Cody Kessler, who was expected to be the number-three quarterback all season, will make his NFL debut against the Miami Dolphins. With the news of Kessler starting, the Browns’ implied Vegas team total dropped 1.5 points to 16.25, the second-lowest on the board.

Now, while the Dolphins have a great defensive line, the entire defensive unit looked lost at times versus the New England Patriots in Week 2. Even if they are facing a rookie quarterback, it can be unsettling to put the Miami D/ST in your FanDuel lineup when they were literally guarding nobody at times during the New England game:

But don’t worry, Vegas is on your side. The Dolphins are 9.5-point favorites over the Browns. Since the beginning of 2014, Vegas favorites of 9.5 points or more score 10-plus FanDuel points 53 percent of the time. That kind of consistency makes them an ideal target for cash games.
