Buccaneers re-sign Mike Evans to 2-year deal
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $52 million to stay with the team.
Evans was set to become a free agent this offseason but instead will continue his career in Tampa Bay. The superstar wide receiver and the Buccaneers agreed to a two-year deal worth up to $52 million, with $35 million guaranteed. Evans has spent his entire 10-year career with the Buccaneers and reached at least 1,000 receiving yards in each season.
Last season, Evans caught 79 of 136 targets for 1,255 yards and 13 touchdowns.
