DraftKings Soccer: Champions League DFS Helper for Tuesday 11/2/21

Robert Lewandowski has a great chance of scoring at least one goal and could easily get a few more. Who else should you target on Tuesday's UCL slate?

Matchday 4 in the Champions League sees rematches from the games that took place just two weeks ago, with the home teams now hitting the road. Here are the games, with odds from Soccer odd:

Home Draw Away
Atalanta (+200) +280 Man United (+120)
Sevilla (-175) +280 Lille (+550)
Dynamo Kiev (+410) +300 Barcelona (-155)
Bayern Munich (-650) +650 Benfica (+1600)
Villareal (-220) +360 Young Boys (+550)
Juventus (-185) +310 Zenit (+500)

Forwards to Target

Robert Lewandowski ($12,500): Over the past few seasons, it hasn't been a question of if Robert Lewandowski will score, but how many. He has failed to score in just two of 13 league games this season. His 12 league goals are the most in Europe's top five leagues.

Lewandowski will face Benfica at home, two weeks after facing them on the road. Bayern Munich were able to whitewash them even away from home, winning 4-0. They created 21 shots but just three came from Lewandowski, one being a goal. If they are able to get this many chances again, Lewandowksi should be on the end of more of them. He is a massive favorite to score at any time, with the odds currently at -270. His odds for a hat trick are less than 5/1, so the upside Lewa possesses is immense.

Federico Chiesa ($8,800): One of the most impressive players at this summer's European Championship was Federico Chiesa of Italy and Juventus. He is a dynamic attacking talent who is positive with every touch of the ball. He gets his chance to show what he can do with some of Juventus' biggest stars no longer at the club. Chiesa had four shots and six crosses two weeks ago against Zenit. He took some corner kicks in that game, as well, and could get some here. As Juve are solid home favorites, Chiesa is a good play who offers a high floor with a nice ceiling.

Paco Alcácer ($6,600): Alcácer will fill in for Gerard Moreno, who will miss this game due to injury. He'll lead the line for Villareal, and they are sizable home favorites against Young Boys. Alcácer is a value play when considering his goal-scoring odds, which are +120. If you need value at forward, he's a good option.

Others to Consider: Memphis Depay ($11,700), Cristiano Ronaldo ($9,500), Kingsley Coman ($8,000), Suso ($5,900)

Midfielders to Target

Bruno Fernandes ($10,200): It's been a rocky season for Manchester United so far, but Bruno Fernandes has been fairly consistent. In fact, he's benefitted from some of the poor performances, as they need him to drag them back into games. That was the case last time out against Atalanta, and it could be the case again.

Fernandes was at his creative best in the reverse fixture. He had 13 crosses, eight chances created and an assist. It was his third game with at least eight chances created this season. He has an assist in each Champions League game this campaign, and we've seen him drive United back from a deficit in the last two European games. Not many players can hit the heights Fernandes does via peripherals, and if he can contribute to at least one goal, his ceiling is massive.

Joshua Kimmich ($8,400): Kimmich rates as probably the second-best play on Bayern Munich, who are by far the biggest favorites on the slate. He has a very solid floor, with fewer than 10 DraftKings points in just two of 13 games this season. He does this by taking nearly every corner kick for Bayern.

Kimmich is a player we can play for his floor, but he has upside, as well. He has three goals and three assists this season, and in this matchup against Benfica, he can easily get involved in another goal. We've seen Kimmich get forward even from his deep midfield role and score goals, and that will be possible if Bayern dominate possession like we expect. Kimmich could be the guy with the highest floor on the slate.

Renato Sanches ($3,800): Sanches is the punt play in midfield you may need to make to get to the stars on this slate. He will get at least a share of set pieces for Lille. It's not an easy matchup away to Sevilla, but Sanches is a talented player who can make an impact in this game.

Others to Consider: Daniel Parejo ($7,300), Erik Lamela ($5,900), Gavi ($3,400)

Defenders to Target

Marcos Acuña ($5,600): Acuña is the best option at the top of the salary tier for defenders. He is a consistent crosser, averaging 6.41 crosses per 90 minutes in La Liga this season. He'll get some set pieces for Sevilla and also cross from open play. Sevilla are home favorites against a Lille side that has really been struggling in Ligue 1.

Benjamin Pavard ($4,600): Pavard should play as a right-back for Bayern Munich in this game against Benfica. He's not the most attacking full-back, but he does contribute in the final third. He scored four goals in 32 league appearances in 2019-20, and we all remember his memorable goal in the 2018 World Cup. He's scored at least 5.9 DraftKings points in the three Champions League matches this season, and in this game, he could easily approach double digits.

Óscar Mingueza ($3,600): Mingueza is the best value at defender. He'll likely occupy the right-back position for Barcelona against Dynamo Kyiv. He has yet to show it in the Champions League, but in La Liga, he has been an attacking threat. He has averaged 4.26 crosses per 90 minutes in league matches this season. For just $3,600 on a slate where you'll need to save salary somewhere, Mingueza is a great play in all formats.

Others to Consider: Luke Shaw ($5,400), Alfonso Pedraza ($4,800), Reinildo ($3,100)

Goalkeepers to Target

Yassine Bounou ($5,500): When spending salary for a keeper who is $5,500 or more, we want them to at least be a favorite to keep a clean sheet. That isn't the case with anyone above Bounou, and his -108 clean sheet odds are actually the best on the slate. Sevilla have conceded just seven goals in 11 La Liga matches, while Lille have scored just 15 in 12 Ligue 1 matches, so this makes sense as a spot where Bounou and Sevilla can limit them.

David von Ballmoos ($3,900): Young Boys and von Ballmoos will take on a Villarreal side without its top striker. The Yellow Submarine have scored only 13 goals in the league this season with Gerard Moreno playing, so they could really struggle without him. This salary for von Ballmoos also puts him among the keepers facing Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich, teams that have much more frightening attacks than Villarreal does.
