Chelsea vs. West Ham

Chelsea to win -135

Chelsea and West Ham are dead even on points 32 games into the season but Chelsea come into this match as deserving favorites. The Blues are 15W-10D-7L for the season compared to 16-7-9 for West Ham but Chelsea have the edge on goal difference at +19 compared to +11.

Chelsea are fourth in the table but they have the second-highest expected goal difference in the league this season at +24.6. This indicates they have possibly been a tad unlucky thus far this season and their true talent level may be higher than their place in the standings indicates.

West Ham are fifth in the table but eighth in the league in expected goal difference with just +5.1. The Hammers may be somewhat fortunate to be in the position they are in now and there is certainly a talent gap between the two sides. Chelsea to win at -134 is a good betting opportunity for the weekend.

Sheffield vs. Brighton

Brighton to win -140

Brighton continue to have a bizarre season, as they are fifth in the league in expected goal difference at +12.0, but are all the way down in 16th in the EPL table. Brighton are also in good form given their spot in the standings, going 2-1-2 in their last 5 games.

Sheffield United are buried in last place with only 14 points in 32 games, putting them 10 points below 19th-place West Brom. Sheffield rank almost just as poorly in expected goal difference, as they are 19th in that category with a -25.9 expected goal difference.

Sheffield are clearly the worst or second-worst team in the league and they have been absolutely brutal this season. They have lost their last five matches and cannot put together any type of momentum. Brighton is a better team than their place in the standings indicates and they should have no problem winning this match.

Aston Villa vs. West Brom

Aston Villa to win -120

West Brom has had a brutal season and they appear destined for relegation having earned only 24 points in 31 games so far this season. They rank even worse in expected goal difference at -27.1, which is last in the league.

Aston Villa have been an average team this season and their 13-5-13 record is good enough for 11th place and they still have a game in hand on the two teams directly above them in the table. Villa are slightly better in expected goal difference (+0.9), as they rank 10th in the league in that category.

Villa are a decent team and they will be facing arguably the worst team in the EPL. Villa should expect to win this game easily and getting them at -120 is very enticing.
