Southampton vs. Arsenal

Southampton to Score 2 or more goals +115

Southampton may be stuck in 14th place in the table, but they are one of the better offensive teams in the EPL. The Saints are seventh in expected goals scored this season, while Arsenal have the sixth-highest expected goals allowed. FBref statistics project this as a good goal-scoring opportunity for Southampton.

Arsenal have been terrible since the season restart, with a 3-0 loss to Manchester City followed by a 2-1 defeat to Brighton. The Arsenal defense is also dealing with some key injuries to center back Sokratis and to goalkeeper Bernd Leno. The Gunners could be very vulnerable to conceding a flurry of goals in this matchup.

Burnley vs. Watford

Burnley to win +210

Burnley and Watford should be a fairly evenly matched game, but Burnley have been the slightly better side this season and at over 2-1, you can get good value on them winning.

Burnley are a step ahead of Watford by almost every metric. They are 11 points ahead in the league table, and they are ahead by FBref’s expected goal difference, as well as by WhoScored.com’s team rankings.

These two teams matched up earlier this season, and Burnley dominated with a 3-0 victory at Watford. Of course, that does not guarantee another Burnley win, but it is good evidence that perhaps they should not be such a large underdog to win this game.
