Aston Villa vs Sheffield United

Under 2.5 Goals Scored (-132)

Aston Villa are the worst defending team in the EPL this season, having conceded 56 goals on the year, even four more than last place Norwich. However, Villa’s offense is actually decent, as they have scored 34 goals, which is more than seven other teams in the league.

Sheffield United are the complete opposite of Aston Villa. Sheffield have the 2nd best defensive record in the league (only behind Liverpool) and only four teams have scored fewer goals. Sheffield have played five games against West Ham, Norwich and Villa (the three worst defensive teams in the EPL) and only one has finished with more than two total goals.

This game is certainly a clash of styles but Sheffield have proven that their cautious style of play will usually prevail and lead to a low scoring game, regardless of the opponent.

Manchester City vs Arsenal

Arsenal +1 (+240)

Manchester City are clearly a better team than Arsenal, as they are seven spots ahead in the standings, but this game is far from a lock for a Manchester City win. City have only won 50% of their games against top-half teams this season and while the Gunners are teetering at the edge of the top half of the table, they have not been an easy team to beat this season.

Arsenal are 9W-13D-6L, meaning they are only losing 21.4% of their games. Before the season stopped in March, Arsenal was hitting their stride, having won three games in a row and having gone on an eight-match unbeaten streak. They may not be as talented as City but they certainly have enough quality to give any team fits.
