DraftKings Daily Fantasy Soccer Helper for Matchweek 10

Lucas Digne has been racking up the fantasy points from the defender position. Who else should we target?

Matchweek 10 in the Premier League only has four games on the slate, with Burnley against Chelse kicking off at 12:30 Eastern and the rest at 10:00 am. Looking at the odds from Soccer odd, Chelsea are also the only team who are favored to win over the three results. This isn't the best slate that we'll see this season, but we can still find some value among the players on these teams, so let's see who some of the best plays are on Saturday.

Forwards to Target

Callum Hudson-Odoi ($8,700): Chelsea got a big boost when Callum Hudson-Odoi returned from injury three matches ago. The eighteen-year-old has been in great playmaking form, with three assists in the three league matches in which he has made an appearance. He has 9 shot assists in just 196 minutes of Premier League action. He's providing the kind of floor we like to see from a player in the forward position. Chelsea have been improving in their attack under new manager Frank Lampard, and are up to third in the league in goals and second in shots per game. Hudson-Odoi is helping in that regard, and the teenager should continue to start and play well for Chelsea this weekend.

Pascal Gross ($7,600): Gross really paid off for people who rostered him last week, recording 21.2 DraftKings points. His price was hiked up all the way to $7,600, but he still can provide value if he plays as he has over the past four games. He has been a creative force, with 24 crosses and 13 shot assists over those four games. The only other Brighton player who has taken a corner kick in the last two games has been Aaron Mooy, who will be suspended for this game. This match against Everton projects to be a tightly-contest affair, so Gross should play all 90 minutes and have a good chance of reaching these floors that we have seen from him this season.

Midfielders to Target

Ryan Fraser ($7,400): Fraser reprised his role as Bournemouth's main set-piece taker in the last match against Norwich and had a great match for fantasy purposes. He put in a whopping 18 crosses in that match, with five being from corner kicks. Bournemouth go from one great matchup to another, now getting to play 20th placed Watford, who have conceded tied for the most goals in the league. Fraser's crosses are often aimed towards forward, Callum Wilson ($7,700), so the two of them make for a nice pair if they could connect on a goal.

John Fleck ($5,400): Fleck has been a pretty good floor player for Sheffield United when in the lineup this season. He gets a split of the corner kicks with Oliver Norwood, having taken 18 to Norwood's 33 but in two fewer games. A reason to prefer Fleck to Norwood is shots, as he has taken 11 to Norwood's five. Sheffield United are a team that loves to cross, ranking fourth in the league with 22 per game according to WhoScored.com. Fleck will likely contribute to that and will likely give you a good fantasy output for his $5,400 salary.

Defenders to Target

Lucas Digne ($6,500): The player who's second in the league in crosses is Everton defender Lucas Digne. He has taken 40 corner kicks to teammate Gylfi Sigurdsson's 18, according to the Premier League's website. He also is first in shots by defenders in the league, as he gets to take direct free-kicks with his left foot when the situation calls for it. Digne might have the highest floor on the slate, so when you compare him to midfielders and forwards at or around the same price, he actually is a good value play at $6,500.

Kiko Femenía ($4,200): Femenía is a cheap option for defender as he is likely to start as Watford's right wing-back. His game logs are ugly after poor performances in tough matchups away to Manchester City and Tottenham. Before those matches, he was providing a decent amount of fantasy value, crossing and providing shot assists for his teammates. This game at home to Bournemouth is obviously an easier task than those games against two of the league's top teams, and Watford are favored at +115. Femenía playing wing-back allows him to push further forward than a more traditional full back. You could do worse for $4,200 on this slate.

Goalkeepers to Target

Roberto Jiménez ($5,200): Jiménez is still filling in for injured Łukasz Fabiański. He gets this match at home against Sheffield United with a decent chance of getting the win at +110. His opponents have scored just eight goals in nine league matches this season.

Aaron Ramsdale ($4,500): Ramsdale is the obligatory play to pick on Watford's dreadful form and lack of goal scoring. Paying down at goalkeeper makes sense due to the high variance nature of the position, so doing it with a keeper against a club, that has only scored five goals all season and hasn't won a game, has a lot of merit.
