Salomon Rondon, Forward, Newcastle

Salary: $9,500

Rondon is tied with Aleksandar Mitrovic as the sixth-highest priced forward on the slate, and he has averaged 15.33 FanDuel points this season. Despite providing an assist in two-straight matches, Rondon has averaged just 12.76 FanDuel points over his last five matches, totaling 13 shots over that span.

Liverpool are a large favorite against Newcastle, and the match has a 57.6% chance of totaling over 2.5 goals. The Magpies have scored in three straight matches, including six of their last seven at St. James’ Park while Liverpool have conceded just two goals over their last five road matches.

Rondon, who oddsmakers give a 26.3% chance of scoring, has totaled nine goals this season, including five on his home pitch. But this week he will face a Liverpool squad that still has hopes of winning a Premier League title. The Reds have allowed the fewest shots on target (2.44) and fewest chances created (5.75) per match on this slate while allowing the second-fewest shots (2.86) in the Premier League this season.

Rondon has scored at least 20 FanDuel points in just two matches this season without scoring a goal, and now faces one of the best clubs in the Premier League. The Wolverhampton forwards -- Raul Jimenez ($12,000) and Diogo Jota ($10,000) -- are both in a great spot while Shane Long ($9,000) has scored in four of his last five appearances.
