Ki Sung-yueng, Midfielder, Newcastle

Salary: $5,500

Prior to being substituted off with an injury against Arsenal on Monday, Isaac Hayden ($8,000) had been in a good run of form operating in the middle of the park for Newcastle. His injury paves the way for Ki, who should take on a similar role for Newcastle this weekend.

Ki was a regular in the starting lineup earlier in the season, receiving seven straight starts from November to the end of December. A hamstring injury forced him to miss a significant amount of time, but after spending three games as an unused sub on the bench, he received a start against Everton early in March and came on as a substitute for Hayden on Monday. Over his last eight starts, dating back to early November, Ki has averaged just 9.05 FanDuel points a game. However, his involvement in those matches paints a brighter picture than the results do. In those matches, he created 12 chances and sent in 36 crosses.

At the time, Newcastle's forwards were struggling to do much with the service they were receiving, but that is no longer the case. Outside of their match against Arsenal, Newcastle has scored nine goals in their last five matches, with multiple goals in four of them. They are on a five-match home winning streak with 12 goals scored over their last six home games. Ki's service should prove more valuable this weekend, elevating his upside and making him an excellent value for his salary.
